The ability to perceive and receive information without using the five physical senses is known as Extrasensory perception or ESP. In a very general way ESP is referred to as the “Sixth Sense”.
The major types of ESP are ---
This is the ability to send and/or receive thoughts. Read the minds of others and know what they’re thinking.
The ability to see events without being physically present. It comes from a French word meaning “clear seeing”
The ability to get feelings about something while holding it or touching it. For instance, holding a watch and getting a clear picture of its owner.
The ability to see into the future. If you had a strong feeling that a certain event was going to occur, say, two weeks in the future and it actually happened, this would be an example of precognition.
